Caring for our Country provides funding for projects that target specific areas or in response to natural disasters.
Disaster recovery
The Australian Government provides disaster recovery funding to drive the recovery of Australia's natural resources in the aftermath of natural disasters.
The package is funded through special provisions under Caring for our Country to support environmental and agricultural recovery activities in flood, cyclone and bushfire affected areas.

Landcare and Sustainable Farm Practices

National Reserve System
Building the National Reserve System is one of six national priorities under the Caring for our Country.
Reef Rescue
Reef Rescue's objective is to improve the water quality of the Great Barrier Reef lagoon by increasing the adoption of land management practices that reduce the run-off of nutrients, pesticides and sediments from agricultural land.
