Western Australia is home to some of the most diverse natural environments, from desert areas to rich agriculatural land and coastal environments. NAP priority regions
Western Australia has four priority NAP regions and shares another priority NAP region (the Ord) with the Northern Territory:
- Avon priority NAP region is the Avon Region and includes the upper Swan Region
- Northern Agricultural priority NAP region is the Northern Agricultural NRM Region
- South Coast priority NAP region is the South Coast NRM Region
- South West priority NAP region is the South West NRM Region
- Ord priority NAP region is included in the Rangelands Region
