Four steps to developing your open call application

Check that you and your project are eligible

In 2012-13, open call funding is available for projects over $20 000 (GST exclusive). As a guide, projects are not expected to exceed $500 000 (GST exclusive). Funding is only provided to organisations that are a ‘legal entity’.

Refer to section 3.2 of the business plan for more details on eligibility requirements. You should also consider the application expectations outlined in section 3 of the business plan.

Your project must address targets set out in the Caring for our Country business plan

Consider the Priorities for Investment section in the 2012-13 business plan before preparing your proposal. Then consider any relevant site investment guides, information sheets and maps.

Go to the online application form

  1. Check that your computer has Adobe Acrobat Reader 8 or above installed. If not, Acrobat Reader X (10.0.1) is available to download free
  2. Carefully read the instructions before you begin your application.
  3. Go to the application log in page. (On your first visit you will need to select the 'Registration page' link to register).
  4. Select the Business Plan 2012-13 Open Call option and click 'Access Application'.

Important notes:
Only applications submitted through the online application form or on the official hard copy application form will be considered for funding.

You may download a reference copy of the application form, however this cannot be submitted.
