Site Investment Guides
This page provides links to all the site investment guides found under the coastal environments and critical aquatic habitats priority, which are provided to help applicants prepare proposals under the 2012–13 business plan. Under these targets, we are seeking proposals with activities at specific geographic locations. Detailed locality maps are contained within the site investment guides.
Ramsar wetlands
Proposals are being sought for on-ground actions that will address key threats to the ecological character of 57 Ramsar wetlands.
Priority sites
Preference will be given to proposals that target the following 12 sites:

Other sites
Proposals will also be accepted for the remaining 45 Ramsar sites for on-ground actions to address key threats to the ecological character posed by weeds and pest animal species, and agricultural and land management practices.
High ecological value aquatic ecosystems
High ecological value aquatic ecosystems (HEVAEs) include rivers, wetlands, floodplains, lakes, inland saline ecosystems, groundwater dependent ecosystems and estuaries. They do not include the marine environment.
Proposals are being sought for on-ground actions that will address identified key threats to the environmental values of 44 HEVAEs.
