Reversing land and water degradation and maintaining sustainable natural and production ecosystems will be dependent upon finding the best available data and information to plan and implement on-ground actions. Increasingly, this information can be discovered through online resources and, in many cases, downloaded directly from relevant web sites.
This section links to Australian, and state and territory governments' online atlases and mapping tools. It also provides information about the management of geographical or spatial data, resources for developing reporting tools for natural resource management activities and projects, and access to a range of online databases and search functions.
