The Northern Territory Region's base level project proposes to fund the following:
- Coastcare programs, including on the Tiwi Islands that will increase community management of coastal areas.
- coordination of landcare activity across four pastoral landcare groups, particularly reducing the impact and spread of Weeds of National Significance.
- further development of partnerships with Indigenous communities ensuring the use of Indigenous traditional knowledge
- Weed control in the Daly-Reynolds Floodplain-estuary System; fencing of biological refugia Central Australian Rock holes from camels.
- local grants of less than $20,000 each and less than $50,000 each to deliver on Caring for our Country targets
